Today I Mourn - for someone forced to move on.

Today I mourn
your loss
so unimaginable
your life so
precious, significant
and loved
cherished with
future, joy and intent

today I feel angry
control there is none
reason and purpose
ripped from my grasp
understanding, compassion
none to be found
filled is my spirit
with
terror unbound
free to run rampant
no solice be found

today I shed tears
for all of your fears
all you went through
while no one
even knew

today I shed tears
for all that you loved
all that you dreamed
all that loved you

time will not mend
it wont take away
the fear and the loss
of now each new day

today I do pray
for the higher
of meaning
the knowledge
of peace,
coming to terms
and forgiving

for those all that loved
do miss you
and struggle
with all that remains
of horrifying trouble.


the meaning of life
loves and the lost
will not be ours
until in the arms
of one so much greater
who holds every answer
who filters all pain
the one and the only
the greatest
creator
